Product Introduction

Hydrophilic Spunbond Nonwoven Fabric is a premium polypropylene (PP) material advanced with specialized hydrophilic surfactants during the extrusion process or via post-treatment coating. This modification alters the surface tension, allowing liquids to instantly wet out, penetrate, and distribute evenly rather than gathering on the surface.

Compared to hydrophobic standard spunbond, our hydrophilic nonwoven features excellent fluid management (fast strike-through and minimal re-wet), ultra-soft hand feel, and exceptional breathability. It is engineering-optimized to function flawlessly as a Top Sheet or Acquisition Distribution Layer (ADL) in disposable hygiene and medical industries.

Primary Applications

Hygiene Products: Top sheets for baby diapers, adult incontinence underwear, sanitary napkins, and panty liners.

Medical & Healthcare: Disposable underpads, surgical gown components, medical beddings, and professional wipes.

Quality Control & International Certificates

Quality Management & Verification
Our facility operates under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. All hydrophilic nonwoven materials intended for hygiene and medical applications comply strictly with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Class I: Safe for Baby Skin Contact), REACH regulations, and FDA direct skin contact guidelines.

Batch-by-Batch Lab Testing Protocols
In-Line Inspection: Automated camera detection systems to scan for pinholes, contamination, or thin spots in real-time.

Physical Testing: Routine verification of Basis Weight (GSM), Tensile Strength (MD/CD), and Elongation for every single master roll.

Performance Testing: Liquid Strike-Through Time (EDANA 150.5) and Re-wet value tracking conducted every 2 hours in our climate-controlled lab.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes your hydrophilic spunbond fabric suitable for baby diaper top sheets?

A: Our fabric features an ultra-soft finishing option and satisfies the strict OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I criteria. It passes the EDANA liquid strike-through test in under 3 seconds, drawing fluid away instantly to ensure the baby's skin remains completely dry and irritation-free.

Q: Can you provide durable hydrophilic properties for adult incontinence products?

A: Yes. We offer a specialized durable hydrophilic option that can withstand multiple liquid insults (up to 3–5 cycles) without losing its hydrophilic capability, which is ideal for the heavy-duty specifications of adult diapers and medical underpads.

Q: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and sample policy?

A: Our standard MOQ is 2.0 metric tons per specification or color. However, we can accommodate smaller trial volumes for initial production line testing. We provide Free A4 or Roll Samples for quality verification; the customer only covers the initial courier/freight charges, which are fully refundable upon your first commercial order.

Q: How do you guarantee the consistency of the hydrophilic coating?

A: We use advanced in-line liquid dosing monitors integrated into our automated calender systems. This ensures the hydrophilic surfactant is distributed with perfect uniformity across the web, maintaining a Coefficient of Variation (CV value) of under 4% across the entire width of the roll.

Q: What information do you need to provide an accurate quotation?

A: To give you the most accurate price, please share your required basis weight (gsm), roll width, target roll diameter/length, hydrophilic requirement (single or durable), and your estimated monthly or annual volume.
